This the best place I have ever stayed in. we are moving to Arkansas and they have done nothing but go out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Many times and accommode our fur babies. The young adults are smart, and polite and just wonderful kids. Thank you Percy. You are the best.

For this being one of the cheapest hotels in the La Grande, Oregon i would gladly stay here again. The staff that i have interacted with have been very friendly, very helpful and a joy to talk to. Their pool is currently under construction but while I was there the weather wasn't pool weather but their hot tub was still open and that was nice. The rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable. The location is good there are alot of food options within a mile all on the same road so pretty much drive down and pick what you want. Over all I will stay here again when income up this way.

the reviews on the la grande inn are pretty mixed. 5 stars or 1 star. glowing or brutal. well, here’s my take on it. for what it’s worth. i paid $72 for the room pictured. $72. is it the plaza? no. is it as ratchet as the one star reviews say it is? don’t believe the hype. i have stayed in places significantly worse than this place and paid way more than $72 for it too. i am really trying to find something negative to say about the la grande inn just to make sense of the bad reviews. there’s a worn spot on the blanket, the wood finish on the bedside tables is scuffed, the styling is a little bit dated.. but it is clean and tidy. there’s clear evidence everywhere that attention has been taken on every detail of this room. no standing dust. meaning the cleaning crew has first string talent on the squad and they are putting in all star performances. a/c, heat, sink, toilet, tub/shower, lights, etc, etc.. everything works as expected. did you see the complimentary toiletries on the counter in the bathroom? how about the coffee machine with single serving coffee and cups? this room was $72!! oh and they have a free continental breakfast too. $72!!! ok, so it must be in the heart of the ghetto and you have to play hop scotch over winos and ladies of the night to get to your room then, right? nope. it’s just off highway 84. parking lot is well lit and clean. i just so happen to be a strapping, barrel chested, ridiculously handsome man.. but i think my 98lb grandmother would feel perfectly safe going to her car in the middle of the night by herself. she can also attest to the fact of my near perfect good looks btw. just saying.. if you need a room and simply can’t abide the look of use and/or age, i’m sure you can find one nearby that will charge you triple or more. if you need a perfectly acceptable room that is comfortable and clean.. that offers so much value for your buck.. so you can get a good nights sleep before you get back out on the road again.. i’m not sure it’s

Although a little dated, the service was excellent and accommodating; the room was spotless; they turned on the heater for us on a frigid night; the bed was cozy with plenty of pillows; breakfast had something for everybody; and it is easy to get on and off the freeway. The price can't be beat.

I'm not sure why people are so unhappy with this place. Yes, the decor is dated and there were some slight stains on the blanket on my bed, but the room was spacious and had everything I needed. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews, I loved my stay here. The facility is a bit old, but my room was quite clean and comfortable. The service and breakfast are also exceptional. I recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay.

We had a great stay. The service was great! The continental breakfast was good. The reason for the 4-stars on the room is because the door kept jamming and our cards had to be rekeyed daily. The rest of our stay was great though. Thank you!
